Luis Carlos Romero León is a visual artist and digital experience designer, born in Bogotá and based in Buenos Aires since 2015.

His background in industrial design and his experience as a migrant shape a practice that moves between material and symbolic construction. He works with pigments, objects, vectors, and pixels under the same artisanal logic: transforming matter into meaning. He creates images, artifacts, and surfaces that combine utility and beauty, exploring the dark, the melancholic, the monstrous, and the mythological as ways of reflecting on the human condition.

He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Cultural Organization Management, where he researches sustainable models to support and strengthen the practice of contemporary artists.
